Standard Hatch Systems are available in four options:

• 10mm Framed System for Larger Openings
  Up to a maximum height of 2500mm
  Maximum recommended height to width ratio of each door – 2:1

  All Edges Polished

• Polished aluminium - Standard Finish

• Anodised in Silver, Bronze, Gold or Black- Additional Charge

• Powder coated to a standard RAL or BS colour - Additional Charge

2 Panel Sliding Glass Door Systems With Integral Hardwood Lining/Shelf 

6mm or 10mm framed system complete with hardwood (Beech or Ash) lining frame and integral shelf (10mm framed system shown in image)

Lining frame can be made to suit any wall thickness making it ideal for a new build or re-furbishment project.

The standard package includes the following materials:

Hardwood lining frame with integral shelf (Beech or Ash)

Architrave (supplied in oversize length form for on site installation by purchaser)

Standard 6mm or 10mm polished aluminium reception hatch with 1no. security plunger lock

Glass Type - 6mm or 10mm clear toughened with polished edges

The bottom rail to the reception hatch sliding door system is recessed into the solid hardwood shelf to allow a clear, unobstructed passage through the opening (when both doors are in the open position)

All material is supplied in kit form as standard with comprehensive installation instructions.

Hardwood Shelf to Liner (Beech)

We can manufacture a shelf to your specification. Please ask for further details. The image shows a shelf of 250mm from front to back. Many of our hatches are used in reception areas and therefore require a shelf for a signing in book.

Security Plunger Lock - 6mm Door System

Supplied with 2no. keys

Mounted on bottom rail of glass door

To engage lock simply remove key and de-press barrel

To dis-engage lock insert key and turn until spring loaded barrel releases 

Security Plunger Lock - 10mm Door System

This is a more heavy duty lock where additional security is required.

The principle is the same as the Security Plunger Lock used on the 6mm Door System.
