Profile – Frame Detail
Acrylic modified high quality impact resistant white PVC-U extrusion,
producing a multi cambered profile conforming to the requirements of BS
EN 12608 (formerly BS7413) manufactured to BS EN ISO 9001-2000.

Reinforcement – Profile
Specific members of both the window and door systems are reinforced
with galvanised mild steel or aluminium sections to BS7412 sealed
within the profile cavity.

Secured by Design – Door Systems
Profile 22 door systems carry the Secured by Design hallmark. This
means that Profile 22 door systems have been rigorously tested and
approved by the Police.

Glass and Glazing
Profile 22 window and door systems can be glazed with either 24mm/28mm
double glazed units or 24mm/28mm reinforced insulated panelling. Glass
types determine thermal and acoustic performance, further details are
available on request. Double glazed units conform to BS EN 1279
(formally BS5713).

Performance
Double Bubblex weather seals ensure the performance meets the
